Abilities: Though he is blind, if the tools are in front of him he can make explosives no problem. His wounds heal faster than normal. He is built for high altitudes. He is strong and fast.


About: Tobias was born in St. Catherine's hospital, and that is where his rough life begins. Only a few days after he was sent home with his mother, he was taken from them. Brought to a laboratory disguised as a medical industry, he was one of the hundreds of test subjects brought for genetic engineering. They recombined the DNA of the young children with plant and animal DNA, creating monstrosities. Tobias was given avian DNA, and that was a success, only 13 percent of the avian test subjects died. As the years went by, wings started to grow from his back, and he was stronger than any child his age. Some would be excited, but not inthis situation. Painful, disturbing tests were constantly preformed on him, and even as young as he was he wished for the sweet embrace of death. Ten years later, they decided to alter his vision, enhance it so he could see just as well at night as he did during the day. It didn;t work, and Tobias was left blind. The only thing keeping him sane, and even happy, were the other children that he was kept with. Even locked in a dog kennel, knowing that he had someone to talk to kept his spirits up, as well at the others.

One of the scientists, Jacob Parker, couldn't stand watching this anymore. The physical and emotional painthese children were going through made him question what he was doing. so he took the five children and fled. For miles they drove, into the mountains until they came across a beautiful house on a mountain in the middle of nowhere. Jacob's home away form home. There he raised the children, and they learned through Television, internet and magazines. The others read to him when it wasn't on television, and because of his accute hearing he never missed or forgot a word. When their wings grew large enough to support them, the would practice flying. Slowly over the years, they learned how to fly as well as any bird. Sharp turns, hovering, diving, flipping, and attacking from above. The would make games out of it. Life was finally great for them.

One day, when the children awoke, they were alone. Jacob was gone. His car was still there, but there was no sign of him. After a month, they stopped waiting, and deciced it was no longer safe to stay. Nicholas and Alice were the 'leaders' of the group, being the eldest two at eighteen. Tobias at sixteen. James and Tasia fourteen and thirteen. James and Tobias were a terrible duo, James' deviousness and Tobias love for explosives making a great combination. So they packed lightly, mostly food, and they left. As they flew east, they flew into a storm, and Tobias was seperated from the others. He couldn't hear them over the roaring winds, and when the storm died, they were no where near him.

So he became a wanderer, wearing clothes that hid his wings without drawing attention. Running from the scientists that he thought took Jacob and trying to find his family, he started his travels around the world. With his accute hearing, not even a bug could get close without him knowing. After finding landmarks, he could navigate an area no problem.
