Bio: Makoto grew up mainly in a temple, with the intentions of following in her father, the Monkey King’s, footsteps. She spent most of her childhood playing tricks on the monks of the temple, while training. At the age of fourteen, she met Kuroda Shinkan, a girl of the same age, sent to the temple to train with the monks by her own father, Ao Guang. Once the two met, they instantly became friends. Makoto and Shinkan trained together each and everyday from that point onwards.

When tensions rose in The Valley of the Lotus, along with the rise of the Immortal Phoenix Emperor, Makoto and Shinkan left the Valley unknowingly with several groups of people who once inhabited The Valley, but generally frowned upon the exploding undead population. Makoto and Shinkan traveled through this new land, dubbing it the Twin Countries. They had managed to both unite the land and Shinkan trained soldiers to stand up to the undead while Makoto brought in guerilla tactics. The newly formed Twin Countries fought several battles against the Valley before being left alone. Time was borrowed for the Twin Countries.

Out of necessity, Makoto and Shinkan formed the Kakashigoto, a group of specially trained warriors, to gather information mostly. The Kakashigoto were trained in a host of skills that would set them apart from the samurai of the kingdom. They were trained with skills that both Makoto and Shinkan honed themselves during their childhood at the temple with the Monkey King.

After the Kakashigoto had formed and thrived with the help of Kuroda Shinkan and two other families, Makoto retired to the temple where her father lived, training some more. That was until she was called upon by the Emperor, Kuroda Teruo- Shinkan’s own son, to help quell a rebellion that was brewing. The Dragon would rise, and this time, things wouldn’t go well for the Monkey.
